The State Cross Country & Road Walks are usually held on the first Sunday in July each year. This season the Championships are being held on July 3, 2011 in Scheyville National Park, Scheyville Road, Scheyville (hosted by Kurrajong/Bilpin Little Athletics Centre). The event is held alternately in a Sydney metropolitan or country area of NSW. There is a $10 entry fee for this Championship (this fee covers both the run and the walk). There is also a late entry fee of $25 (allowing an entry to be received for 1 week after the original closing date). Athletes in the U7 through to U17 age groups are eligible to enter the State Cross Country. Athletes in the U9 through to U17 age groups are eligible to enter the State Road Walks.
